About Fluminense FC
Fluminense FC is a division I professional soccer club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The club has won Brazilian National League many times and holds the most titles for being the State Champion of Rio. Many famous players like Romario, Roberto Rivelino have played for this club.
In order to continue its strong reputation and tradition, Fluminense FC emphasizes the development of young players. The club has opened a youth training center in the calm suburbs of Rio de Janeiro, Xerem, in order to provide quality training for boys ages 9-20. Over the last two decades, the club has a proven track of developing young players into professionals. Recently, two players from Fluminense FC, Rafael da Silva and his twin brother Fabio da Silva signed professional contracts with Manchester United at the age of 18.
About the Facility
The training center has its own dormitory as well as 3-star hotel, where youth players will be staying during the tour. The facility has a recreational room, swimming pool, futsal court, exercise room, computer room, and cafeteria. The center has 6 outdoor fields and one main stadium with capacity of 2000 people. Professional staff with trainers and doctors are available to assist players during trainings.
