Samba Brazil Tour for Teams

We are now accepting registrations from teams to participate in the Samba Tour 2010.
Overview: Based on our years of experience, we combined our knowledge with opinions and suggestions of parents, team managers and club representatives and created the Samba Tour. The Samba Tour, our most popular and chosen tour, allows teams to get the best out of Brazilian soccer and the country itself. Samba tour combines intensive trainings with sightseeing trips, tournament, and cultural aspect of Brazil. Through our long-term partnership with Fluminense FC, Division 1 club in Rio de Janeiro, we give a chance to international players to experience on their own how Brazilian youngsters are developed into professional players. International players train with the Fluminense FC players, participate in scrimmages, friendlies, and tournament. Participating players are combined with Fluminense players and are trained by experienced coaches, who often are national youth team coaches of Brazil as well. Our program allows players to train with the real Fluminense FC club, not with 'Fluminense Academies' like our competitors do since we want to give international players a real club experience. This way, our program is incomparable since participating players are exposed to high level club soccer in Brazil and experience the daily routine that Brazilian future soccer stars go through. Players benefit from this program by gaining confidence, self-esteem, unforgettable memory, and cultural experience of which they will be proud of for the rest of their lives. Youth clubs from the United States., such as Bethesda Soccer Club from MD, Montgomery Soccer Club from MD, or Youths Soccer Center from PA have participated in our team tour and are among our many happy customers.
Dates The 11- day tour has preset dates for August 1 - 11, 2010. Teams wishing to customize their tour or participate in different days, should visit Brazil Team Tour to build their own tour. To view sample itinerary for Samba Tour 2010, please download the SAMBA TOUR ITINERARY 2010.
Who can participate in the tour? The tour is offered to boys teams U11 through U18 that play soccer at competitive level.
Supervision: When we organize any tour, safe environment is our top priority. Teams will be accommodated at Fluminense FC club facilities, which are all gated and supervised 24 hours. Teams will be personally supervised and guided by Brazilian Soccer Academy staff, who is very well familiar with soccer in Brazil and the U.S. To learn more about Fluminense and its facilities, please go to Fluminense FC.
Highlights of the Samba Tour: The program allows players to explore the beauty and atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro in 2 unique trips that are included in the tour.
Sightseeing trip to Corcovado - It is impossible to conceive a trip to Brazil without visiting one of the 7 Wonders of the Modern World, the statute of Christ the Redeemer, located at the top of Corcovado Hill. It has become a symbol of the city and of the warmth of the Brazilian people, who receive visitors with open arms. Some of the best views of Rio de Janeiro can be spotted from the top of Corcovado. After admiring the beauty of the city, players will experience a little bit of Brazilian cuisine and culture. They will be taking to a lunch at Brazilian Steakhouse at Copacabana Beach. You cannot leave Brazil without experiencing an authentic Brazilian steakhouse and the taste of Brazil. Large pieces of marinated, slow roasted cuts of meat are prepared in the Brazilian tradition going back centuries. After the lunch, players will explore the beaches in Rio. They will walk along the famous Copacabana boardwalk and spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying the beach and playing beach soccer on Ipanema beach.
Trip to Maracana to watch a professional Division I match. Maracana, perhaps the world's most famous soccer stadium, holds over 100,000 spectators. Games involving big local soccer teams provide an unforgettable sporting event experience that the Maracana stadium is famed for. Players will be able to see part of the famous soccer museum with footprints of Pele and other famous players. The tour concludes with the International Soccer Cup at the Fluminense facility, which gives participants a chance to compete against other youth teams from Brazil.
